"We arrived at this place after driving down from the Marlborough Sounds at 10.00pm. The motel was open to be greeted by friendly Jay who showed us to a comfortable, immaculate private room. Just what we needed after a long drive. Best place to overnight in Ashburton!"

"Booked in for four nights, the owners could not have been more friendly or helpful. The rooms were large and super clean. My only slight criticism would be that the walls between rooms are thin. Could hear next doors television and our neighbors snoring. However it would not put me off staying again as the owners were so obliging."

Room had very comfortable bed, mini fridge, microwave, kettle and all the crockery and cutlery required. There was safe off street parking. Place was spotless. Continental breakfast was available if required. Train tracks close to house but did not disturb my sleep."
